Star Wars: The Bad Batch

Get ready to meet Clone Force 99. The genetically mutated clone troopers first introduced in Star Wars: The Clone Wars are coming to Disney+ on May 4 for their own spinoff, Star Wars: The Bad Batch. Each of the elite squad of troopers cloned from Jango Fett has their own key differences from the standard clone trooper — lending to the informal “Bad Batch” moniker — and they’ll be seen taking on missions in the aftermath of the Clone Wars. Details about the series are being kept pretty well under wraps, but here's what we know about the Star Wars: The Bad Batch cast.

Dee Bradley Baker Star Wars: The Bad Batch

Dee Bradley Baker (Clone Troopers)

Voice acting master Dee Bradley Baker is no stranger to the Star Wars franchise, playing multiple Star Wars characters over the years, including Frog Lady and Frog Man on The Mandalorian. For Star Wars: The Bad Batch, he'll voice all of the Clone Troopers, including the members of Clone Force 99. He is also attached to Star Wars: Detours, which is scheduled for release sometime this year as well.

Dee Bradley Baker's hundreds of voice credits include every show from Muppet Babies to American Dad! to SpongeBob Squarepants, but fans of The Force will recognize his work in Star Wars Resistance (Grevel, Glem and others), Star Wars: Forces of Destiny (Wicket W. Warrick and others), Star Wars Rebels (Rex, Admiral Konstantine and others) and Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures (Bossk/Boba Fett and others).

The Mandalorian Ming-Na Wen

Ming-Na Wen (Fennec Shand)

Ming-Na Wen will reprise the role — though as a younger version of the character — that was introduced in The Mandalorian, as she takes Fennec Shand from live action to the animated Star Wars: The Bad Batch, much like Katee Sackhoff did, taking Bo-Katan Kryze from animation in Star Wars Rebels and The Clone Wars to live action in The Mandalorian. Wen will also play the same character in another live-action Disney+ spinoff coming this year, The Book of Boba Fett.

The actress who, at least until now, was likely best known for voicing the title character in the 1998 Disney movie Mulan, will lend her voice to the upcoming HBO Max animated series Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai — a prequel to the 1984 film Gremlins — also slated for a 2021 release. Ming-Na Wen is also known for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Stargate Universe and the medical drama ER.

Stephen Stanton Star Wars The Bad Batch

Stephen Stanton (Admiral Tarkin)

Stephen Stanton will voice the role of Admiral Tarkin, as he did in both The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. Stanton previously voiced Griff Halloran in Star Wars Resistance, and outside of the galaxy far, far away, he voiced multiple characters in Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?, Sleepy in Disney's Snow White-inspired series The 7D, and Fred Dukes and Blob in Wolverine and the X-Men. He's done voice work in numerous series, from Archer to It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia to Parks and Recreation.

Andrew Kishino Star Wars The Bad Batch

Andrew Kishino (Saw Gerrera)

It appears Andrew Kishino will reprise the character of Saw Gerrera in Star Wars: The Bad Batch, which he voiced in The Clone Wars series. Fans are excited to see Kishino's return, as Gerrera was portrayed by Forest Whitaker in Star Wars Rebels and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Although he didn't voice Gerrera, Kishino still had a role in Rebels, voicing Captain Hark for a couple of episodes. Kishino's other voice work includes ThunderCats Roar, The Lion Guard and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Fans of all things Star Wars will surely be treated to some surprises when Star Wars: The Bad Batch premieres on Star Wars Day, May 4, on Disney+. Check back with CinemaBlend for more news on all of the upcoming Star Wars spinoffs, as well as premiere dates for other Disney+ shows.
