Real Housewives Of Atlanta's Kenya Moore Is Taking Her Shade And Throwing It At Andy Cohen Now

There is no doubt about it: Season 13 of Real Housewives of Atlanta thrived off the shade Kenya Moore was giving. The reality star alum singlehandedly kept “StripperGate” alive both during the season and throughout the reunion specials. She also built-up alliances and attacked those of others. During that last reunion special though, Moore couldn’t help but throw a little more shade at the king himself, host Andy Cohen, otherwise known to the Atlanta women as “Silver Bullet.”

The shade came down to a platter of crab cakes. Usually, at the end of a Real Housewives reunion special, Andy Cohen has all of the women cheers with a drink that commemorates the season. Cohen had the Real Housewives of Atlanta ladies close out Season 13 with a crab cake, as a nod at Kenya Moore’s failure to provide food on the girls’ trip that got her a lot of flak (particularly from Kandi Burruss). Moore laughingly called out Cohen on the move, saying, “You are super shady, Andy!”

If there are levels to Real Housewives shade, then this would be simply categorized as “fun” shade. No harm, no foul – but there’s a pointed “I see you” undercurrent. In that last Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion special, Kenya Moore wasn’t the only one to call out Andy Cohen – Kandi Burruss did so as well. She pointedly told Cohen to check himself when bringing up her daughter. Cohen quickly played up their running bit for the reunion – and begged forgiveness of “Mistress,” Burruss’ bachelorette dungeon party alias.

It is more entertaining, though, when Andy Cohen seems to step outside his mere hosting duties and attempts to get a rise out of the ladies, or otherwise encourage further drama. When he called out Drew Sidora for her lack of “Prophet” receipts, I thought for sure we’d see more drama on that front. But Sidora simply didn’t have anything to back up that particular storyline she was after.

There were several other great shade-throwing moments from the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunions. Some that didn’t make our top list, but our still noteworthy, include the cast confirming that nemeses LaToya Ali and Drew Sidora made out at the bachelorette party and the mention of the fact that Mike Hill’s daughter oddly didn’t go to his and Cynthia Bailey’s wedding.

The cast for the next season of Real Housewives of Atlanta hasn’t been confirmed as of yet. Likely the shade queen herself, Kenya Moore, will be asked back. It’s 50/50 on whether Drew Sidora will pull a Kim Fields one-season arc and throw in the towel. But what remains on most people’s minds is whether Porsha Williams is returning and how her shocking engagement announcement might play into it. I’m sure Kenya Moore will have a thing or two to say about it.
