Spoilers ahead for the most recent episode of Bachelor in Paradise Season 7

Victoria Paul caused quite a stir on the latest episode of Bachelor in Paradise, when she decided to leave the show after being accused of having a boyfriend back home. But that possibly wasn’t the strangest thing to happen to her in her short stay on the beach. After Tuesday’s episode aired, Paul spoke out to clear up the boyfriend issue, and also revealed that the extreme heat caused some issues with her breast implants, and they had to be removed!

While speaking on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, Victoria Paul said her early exit was for the best, for many reasons, not the least of which was that she didn’t take to the sweltering, crabby environment. In fact, after she left the beach, she realized the Paradise heat had caused some upheaval in her boob job.

I’m not made for these mosquitoes and this heat, and literally I was sweating my titties off. Like actually, one of my implants, when I got home, was like deflating. Literally sweated my titty off. So on Monday, I have surgery that morning to remove my implants. … Right now we’re just being comfy and cozy and hiding the girls.

Well I’m certainly no expert in the plastic surgery field, but I didn’t know that was something that could happen! One thing’s for sure – everybody better leave Tahzjuan Hawkins alone now when she complains about the heat. It also makes me wonder if other women from the show have ever experienced similar effects?

Victoria Paul said her grandmother told her she was lucky her implant troubles didn’t happen while she was still on the beach, thus avoiding an embarrassing situation, but Paul said her boobs were the least of her worries after being blindsided with the boyfriend accusations. Paul’s “friends” Tammy Ly and Kelsey Weier spread word around Paradise that Paul had actually come on the show to help a boyfriend back home in Nashville boost his music career. Podcast hosts Becca Kufrin and Tia Booth gave Paul the opportunity to clarify the situation.

Victoria Paul revealed that after she moved to Nashville, her friendship with a guy became something more, unintentionally, as they both knew she wanted the opportunity to go on Bachelor in Paradise.

Paradise was always something that we knew was a very strong possibility. Day 1, I was very honest with him. We talked about it. We had only been dating like, two and a half months, right? I have to make a decision. I think that probably the weight of whether Paradise was going to be a thing or not weighed heavy on our relationship. He didn’t ask me to stay and was just like, ‘You should go. I encourage you to follow your heart. We haven’t been dating long’ …

So, according to Victoria Paul, she did have a boyfriend for a time, but was open about the very real possibility that she would return to Bachelor Nation for a season of Bachelor in Paradise. Paul continued to explain the situation, saying:

We ended up having a conversation, this was a month before Paradise, like two months we’d been dating, and he broke up with me and was, like, ‘I just feel like you’ve got your own thing going on. Paradise is this huge weight on us, whether you’re going to go, whether you’re not. Are we serious enough for you to stay? Are you going to have regrets if you stay?’

Victoria Paul even told the podcast hosts that the night of the break-up, she stayed at Kelsey Weier’s house! It sounds like Victoria Paul lost a boyfriend, a chance at love, a couple of friends and her breast implants all in one go! That’s a lot to unpack for a 36-hour beach vacation. Paul may be gone from the beach, but the drama will surely continue next Monday and Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Check out our 2021 fall TV schedule to keep up with all of the upcoming premieres!
