How Khloe Kardashian Responded To Learning Her Baby's Gender

It's official: Khloe Kardashian is having a baby girl. On Sunday's season finale of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Khloe Kardashian discovered the sex of the baby in her stomach, and she claimed she was "shocked" by this discovery. Khloe visibly didn't seem to know how to respond to this baby news.

As it was announced in December, Khloe Kardashian is having her first child with NBA player Tristan Thompson. Khloe attempted to keep the news a secret at first, but when the news became public, Khloe Kardashian decided that she was going to announce it officially on her own time. In the past couple months, Khloe Kardashian has revealed that she is planning to raise the child in both L.A. and Cleveland, and she is hoping to raise the child as a family despite the busy schedules the two celebrities have. As this recent episode, appropriately titled "The Gender Reveal," showed, Khloe Kardashian was overcome with emotions during the moment, and was guided through this huge reveal by her sisters, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, respectively.

Receiving the news over the phone by Kylie Jenner while Khloe Kardashian is in San Francisco with Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe was quick to immediately dismiss her youngest sister when she announced that she is carrying a girl in her stomach. "You're lying," she stated to Kylie. But Kylie had gotten the news straight from the doctor. As it has been noted, Khloe Kardashian thought she was having a boy, and she was not expecting the news about having a girl. Here's what she said during the show:

When she called her mother, Kris Jenner, in order to reveal the news to her, Khloe Kardashian said that she was really hoping Kylie Jenner would "say she's lying" and reveal that Khloe was "really having a boy." But, alas, it appears to be the truth. Comforting her pregnant daughter, Kris Jenner revealed that she wanted to have a boy, and she was nevertheless happy to have her three daughters first before she had her son, Rob Kardashian. Kris also noted that "a man is more attached to a girl" and the mom also admitted that the upcoming girl will the "love of his life." That really set Khloe off.
