Futuremark Studios is working on a benchmark for DirectX 11 gaming cards, in addition to announcing the project the company also released a video tech demo of some deep sea exploration.
Jukka Mäkinen, Futuremark CEO commented in the press release, saying…
"For over 10 years 3DMark has shown gamers what to expect from the next generation of real-time 3D graphics," … "So we are especially excited to announce 3DMark 11 and show the possibilities of DirectX 11 with the release of the Deep Sea trailer."
The trailer is remarkable, there’s no doubting that. In fact, the quality of the visuals within the trailer almost looks on par with what one might see in a big budget film. There’s no sense in holding back in letting loose the very fitting adjective of ‘impressive’, so I’m just going to go on and say that the tech demo is very impressive.
