The Aurora World MMORPG Announced For North America

GBE Games and Aurora Interactive have teamed together to release the new fantasy MMORPG, The Aurora World. The game already has a following in China, South Korea and Turkey, but this will mark the first time that the game will become available to the North American gaming audience. Although, I can't say NA gamers are in for much of a treat.
The game puts players in the role of typical character class archetypes that must restore a world that was driven into chaos and fragmentation after the gods of heaven fought and destroyed the universe. Yeah, it's a fantasy-oriented post-apocalyptic thing...but don't expect cut-off gloves bums and thong-wearing sado-masochists that ride around in dune buggies looking for fuel to make an appearance.
The Aurora World is a light fantasy MMO, more like World of Warcraft Ver. 0.001. You can check out the gameplay in the new video below.
Excuse my acetic candor but this game looks like every other piss-poor, boring, grindfesting Korean MMORPG cloned after the World of Warcraft paradigm.
I could be wrong (and that's a possibility given that I haven't played the game) but this looks like just another clickety-click game. Compared to the likes of new-school MMOs like Guild Wars 2, TERA, Blade & Soul and RaiderZ, I'm just wondering why anyone would bother with The Aurora World?
Still, if the game tickles your fancy and you haven't had enough of the fantasy-world MMO tropes, feel free to sign-up for the upcoming closed beta set to commence in the early half of 2013 by visiting the Official Website.
