Rock Hippo, the same company behind the third-person shooter, MicroVolts, has announced that they have teamed up with Weezor to release the multiple fighting game, Brawl Busters. The game is set to enter the first wave of closed beta testing starting August 11th.

Howard He, President and CEO of Rock Hippo Productions commented in the press release, saying…
"Our fans ask us every day when they will get their hands on Brawl Busters so we are excited to finally be able to let them know the countdown has started and they only have to wait one more week!" ... "We invite players to go to the website now and sign up so they can make sure to get one of the coveted closed beta invites, and while they are there they should make sure to check out the weekly video lessons we have posted teaching them about Brawl Buster's gameplay features. This way, they can be ready to jump in and be one of the best Original Busters next Thursday."

The game sports a wide array of wacky and unique characters that look like they come out of a 80s B-movie flick about futuristic warfare. If you’re into that kind of cheese then a lot of the characters will be right up your alley. The game itself sports both PvP and PvE scenarios, customizable characters, power-ups and missions. In some regards, the gameplay is very, very similar to Rock Hippo’s other free-to-play action title, MicroVolts (also known as H.A.V.E. Online over in South Korea). I am a bit curious to know how the game will play out and especially curious what the PvE scenarios are going to be like.
