The world of Cabal Online continues to grow as the recently released Rising Force expansion goes Extreme later this week. Expect all new content and endgame additions on Aug. 1.
Originally released back in 2008, Cabal Online has since evolved into one of the largest free-to-play MMORPGs on the market, offering players a massive world to explore, hundreds of enemies to trounce and thousands of pieces of loot to swipe at no initial charge. After you get into the swing of things, you can either drop a little real-world money to spice up your experience, or keep playing pro bono indefinitely.
The game has continued to grow over the years, releasing its ninth expansion, Rising Force, this past March. On Aug. 1, the Rising Force Extreme expansion will drop, offering even more content than before.
Up for grabs in this latest expansion are all new features, challenges and content for players to explore, including an all new “Extreme” upgrade system, which lets players advance their equipment beyond its normal max levels. That means that you’ll still be able to get better and better gear once you’ve reached the endgame, meaning you can keep playing Cabal Online and still feel like you’re making some progress.
There’s also brand new abilities for every class in the game, as well as new synergy skills to utilize in group battles.
Finally, you’ll probably want to try out all of that new year and those sweet new abilities on some unsuspecting mobs, which is why you’ll want to venture down into the Forgotten Temble B2F, a brand new dungeon said to provide some of the toughest challenges to every appear in the game. You’ll face deadly monsters, as well as the clock, as you race to clear this dungeon of some monstrous threats.
To check out Cabal Online, head on over to the game’s official website. From there, you just need to register, download and get to playing. Once Aug. 1 rolls around, you’ll be able to download the Rising Force Extreme content, also free of charge.
