There’s an awful TV show/card game called Chaotic. This show somehow became popular enough for Activision to warrant a game out of the franchise and they've joined up with 4Kids Entertainment to do so. I really don’t see how it’s going to be any good, but you know what? Activision just might surprise us all by making the game good enough to buy.

“Chaotic was the first trading card franchise specifically designed to connect competition with online interaction, so it’s a natural fit for the property to evolve into videogames,” said Alfred R. Kahn, Chairman and CEO, 4Kids Entertainment. “Fans are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to take their battles to the next level… and now a Chaotic video game is on the horizon.”

This disasterpiece…oops, I mean potential masterpiece, is scheduled to release for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii. Chaotic will feature both turn-based, strategic gameplay and role-playing elements. That combination alone sounds intriguing. Players will be tasked with building their own Chaotic army, defeating enemies, acquiring battle-gear, earning upgrades and unlocking a variety of content.
