The upcoming MMORPG Elder Scrolls Online will take players across the massive continent of Tamriel. A new set of concept art shows some of the possible locations that players will be able to travel to.

The art shows a desert, a snowy forest and a bustling village. The first image seems to be Hammerfell, home to the Redguard. The forest is almost certainly Skyrim. The village could be anywhere, really, but the central province of Cyrodiil is a good bet.

ESO takes place hundreds of years before Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The mortal races are splintered into three factions and battle for dominance. There's a much bigger threat lurking in the shadows, though Daedric Prince Molag Bal, who intends to take over the world.

The MMO is expected to launch next year on the PC and Mac. With the release only a year (or less) away, expect a lot more information to be forthcoming.
