Today Zenimax launched the official website for MMO The Elder Scrolls Online. The site is pretty bare bones at the moment but does have one piece of interesting content: the game's very first trailer.
The trailer shows a series of close-ups of dragons and their metallic scales. Soon the camera pans out to reveal that we're looking at...the logo. Yes, it's one of "those" trailers.
The website isn't completely devoid of information, though. It has links to French and German versions of the site. That seems like confirmation that the game will be localized into those two languages. Or maybe it's just a cruel, cruel tease.
Elder Scrolls Online, announced yesterday, is set a thousand years before the events of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. A Daedric prince is attempting to pull all of Tamriel into his demonic realm. The game will offer players quests, dungeons, and PvP battles.
As previously announced, TESO will be the cover story for the latest issue of Game Informer. Expect tons more information to be released in the coming days. Zenimax plans to release the game next year so they've got some hypin' to do.
