When you were kids, you probably all had dreams of running a 18th century nation. Well, Steam's offering you taste of that dream. They've now got a playable demo of Empire: Total War for you to download.

The demo allows you to play two historical battles from the game, both from the perspective of the British Empire. First, you'll fight American revolutionaries at the Battle of Brandywine Creek. In the second scenario, the Battle of Lagos, you must defeat a French fleet and prevent them from invading Britain.

Empire: Total War will be released on March 3rd in North American stores and will hit Steam and PAL territories the following day.
