Reto-Moto has been working hard to make progress on the MMORTS/FPS, Heroes & Generals. The game is basically a strategy campaign game meets and a strategic deathmatch game, complete with realistic weapon physics, damage models and vehicular combat.

Reto-Moto released a new alpha log developer diary detailing how they've overhauled the look and feel of the game, including the way vehicles handle, weapon animations and reloading, as well as damage models and explosions.

The game is looking phenomenal right now and it's still in the alpha stage of development. You can check out and see how much progress Reto-Moto has made on the game with the video log below.

One of the things I like most about games with this level of development transparency is that the community, the supporters and gamers in general get a good idea of how far along the game is in the developmental phase, as well as what they can expect from the title by the time it nears completion. Overall, there's a lot more participation between the developers and the community using such an open and exposed level of interaction for the development process.

You can sign up for an alpha key or simply learn more about Heroes & Generals by paying a visit to the game's Official Website.
