Two new trailers have been released for WeMade's upcoming non-targeting MMORPG, Icarus Online, not to be confused with the similarly named Guns of Icarus Online. They're two very different games, mind you.

Anyway, the new trailers were released directly from WeMade and highlight some of the game's in-game cinematics and combat mechanics. The trailers aren't terribly impressive but they're good enough to get the job done. The thing that stood out the most to me was probably the aerial combat segments where players are riding their mounts and battling bosses in mid-air.

It's nice seeing the CryEngine 3 on display in the way that it is, with the cloth simulation in full effect, no doubt thanks to Shroud's middleware toolset, and the combat looks sleek enough. I don't know if what Icarus Online is selling is enough to get gamers buying (even if it is free-to-play). There are a ton of games out there right now rocking non-targeting gameplay with highly scalable playability factors, such as Guild Wars 2, Mortal Online, TERA Online and RaiderZ to name a few. Finding a place amongst some really great MMOs that have a tight stranglehold on the genre could prove to be very challenging for WeMade, especially with a game like Icarus Online.

If the videos, however, have you all excited and intense for the title, feel free to learn more by visiting the official website.
