Riot Games will be offering another range of champion and skin sales for League of Legends in December. However, they're making some important changes to their routine.

In the past, Riot waited a year before they discounted skins. Now, they'll be holding sales on these items 4-6 months after they launch. All tiers of skins, even pricey Legendaries released in the future, will be eligible for these sales. They'll start off this new plan by putting all the skins released in the past 4-6 months on sale from December 3rd through 7th. Here are the skins that will be on sale during that time:

League of Legends just ended Season 5 with a huge patch so some of these champions might not be as good as you remember. Masteries have been completely overhauled along with a number of items. Assassins like Talon and Kha'Zix are in a really rough spot now so you might not want to purchase them. Tanky characters like Taric and Rammus benefited a lot from the changes, though, and effectively counter some of the currently dominant champions like Tryndamere and Yasuo.

Fellow tank Malphite currently has the best win rate for top laners. While he's not on sale, he's pretty cheap and real easy to play. Plus, his Pacific Rim-like Mecha skin will be on discount this week so you can look good while racking up wins.
