Logitech Announces G600 MMO Gaming Mouse

Hardcore MMO players who need better controls, better maneuverability, better mouse movements and better gaming compatibility will be pleased to know that the Logitech G600 MMO gaming mouse has been announced.

This very sleek looking mouse (which also appears as if it came out of Valve's fictional Aperture Labs), utilizes more than 20 snazzy buttons, including 12 thumb buttons, and no-look button affinity compatibility, so your hand is always comfortable and right where it needs to be to execute the mouse movements and button commands with ease.

Mark Starrett, senior global product manager for Logitech commented that...

“The Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse is the result of intense, direct testing with experienced MMO gamers,”...“Countless hours of research went into the design of our thumb panel to make sure that it is as comfortable and easy to use as possible. And people will feel the difference in the buttons – they’re sculpted to help reduce click fatigue and miss-clicks so you can play with greater precision for as long as you want.”

I can't get over how technically artistic this mouse looks. The main image gives you a pretty good scope of how the button layout is setup and how you can execute common MMO commands on the fly without having to even sprawl your hands across the keyboard. What's more is that the mouse looks so freaking sexy.

Still, as history has always told us, sexy looking things with a lot of curves usually cost a lot and the Logitech G600 is no exception to the rule. Scheduled to become available this July in North America and Europe, the Logitech G600 will retail for the not-quite-break-your-wallet-price of $79.99.

If the price doesn't bother you all that much (and realistically, it's not quite as bad as some other high-end gaming peripherals) then you can keep an eye on the availability of the G600 when it does launch, by paying a visit to the Official Logitech Website
