An action-oriented, RPG platformer has made its way to Kickstarter called Luna: Shattered Hearts. It's a small-time indie project from Gillis Games, which consists of Daniel Gill. The game is nearly complete but there's still some much needed work to be done in polishing the title up, hence the move to Kickstarter.

Crowd-funding has helped a lot of small but nostalgic and/or innovative indie projects get off the ground that otherwise would have been cobweb fodder, sitting in the dark corners of creative minds. Thankfully, with emerging outlets for designers to help get their ideas turned into a reality due to crowd-sourcing, we're seeing a lot of great games come out of the woodwork looking for that final push into the public realm of e-tailer distribution. The same goes for Luna: Shattered Hearts, which you can find out more about in the Kickstarter video below.

If the game looks like your cup of tea then you can feel free to help development along, which is in its final stages.

The end-goal isn't very big either, rocking in at a moderate $8,000. Already the project has garnered more than 30 backers and it still has 20 days to go, as of the writing of this article.

You can learn more about Luna: Shattered Hearts by visiting the official Kickstarter page.
