Activision is rumored to be prepping for a big announcement for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. That's supposedly going to be the next title in the series, and ahead of the big announcement some new details leaked for the game.

Shacknews is reporting that a Canadian Retailer (perhaps accidentally?) leaked a promotional store image that contains the release date, pricing details, and a little surprise for Call of Duty fans. You can check out the image below.

So let's run through some of the details of the image. Beyond the obvious release date of November 4th, 2016, there's a soldier standing behind a very symmetrical logo for “Infinite Warfare”. This pretty much all but confirms that the next game will be called Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

The interesting thing is that there are two sides to the image; on the left is a smokey looking battlefield with lights and debris. On the right side of the image there's an image of a space ship traveling in space... with more lights, of course. A giant spaceship looms overhead just behind the soldier who is carrying a modified M4 and a helmet. It's not just an ordinary helmet, though, it's a space helmet attached to his suit through a breathing tube. Obviously, players will be venturing to planets where the atmosphere will require a breathing apparatus to survive.

The next interesting thing in the image is the pricing. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare appears to carry a $79.99 price tag, while the Legacy Edition, for $109.99, comes with the standard edition of Infinite Warfare and a remastered edition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which was the Call of Duty from seventh gen that started making Activision a billion dollars.

It appears as if the remastered version of Modern Warfare will also be multiplayer-ready for today's generation. The game not only comes with the full campaign mode, but it also has 10 multiplayer maps bundled in as well.

The news about the remastered edition isn't anything new given that a lot of gamers were expecting Activision to re-lease the first two Modern Warfare games since those are the ones that people so desperately love from the whole franchise. It's amazing how well those two games have resonated with players, but a lot of that was probably due to the fact that the main characters were extremely memorable and Modern Warfare 2 had some of the most shocking twists in the series. It's been hard for Activision and the studios under them to top the presence of the first two Modern Warfare games, so it looks like they're bundling in the remastered edition of the first one to help bolster the appeal of Infinite Warfare.

Rumor has it that Activision and Infinity Ward will make the announcement about the new game during the first week of May, so we'll see if that comes to fruition and if the rumors are true this week.
