Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen Now On Virtual Console

It's a Monday so the Wii owners are getting some new stuff via Virtual Console and WiiWare. There's one new game apiece on each digital service and they couldn't be anymore different.

Virtual Console now has Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen, a medieval fantasy turn-based strategy. Players must assemble a rebel army and defeat the Zetegenian Empire, who are probably total dicks. Black Queen was originally released for the SNES back in the nineties and is rated E. It'll cost you 800 Wii Points ($8).

If turn-based strategy isn't your thing, how about vague family-oriented entertainment? WiiWare's got Family & Friends Party, an interactive board game for up to eight players. Listen to this vivid description: "The goal is to be the first to complete a series of challenges. During each turn, a challenge will be played by one or two players per team depending on the type of challenge you've been given. (Other players on your team can still help and support you). There are six different "Single" challenges that must be played cooperatively by members of the same team. Family & Friends Party can also suggest "Versus" challenges, which must be played competitively by all teams at the same time." Whatever that game is, it costs 1000 Wii Points ($10).
