If you haven't already purchased some of Rockstar's greatest hits, now would be a great time to do so. Just ahead of GTA V's PC launch, The Humble Store is discounting Rockstar titles at up to 80% off.
The Humble Store's discount includes all of Rockstar's classics. And let me stress this again: these are Rockstar's PC classics. This means that Red Dead Redemption, one of Rockstar's biggest seventh-gen games, won't be available at up to 80% off. It's a major bummer, but that's just how the dice fell.
However, the discount collection does include the Grand Theft Auto collection at 80% off. For $9.99, you'll get Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Grand Theft Auto IV and the Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City. If you already have GTA IV and the Episodes From Liberty City but still want to get your hands on the older GTA games, you can get the GTA trilogy for only $5.99, which includes GTA III, GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas.
You can also get the GTA titles individually, with GTA III and Vice City available for only $1.99. And San Andreas is only $2.99.
L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition is also available for only $5.99.
Oldies but goodies like Manhunt have also received an 80% discount, which is available for only $1.99. And while Bully is also hit with the 80% price-slashing sword, it's a dollar more than Manhunt, carrying a $2.99 price point.
All three Max Payne games are also on sale. The first two games are cut down by 80%, available for only $1.99. However, the third game isn't quite as low. You'll have to settle for a 75% discount on Max Payne 3, bringing the game down to only $4.99. The DLC for the game – noteworthy purchases, if I must say so myself – are also available with the Max Payne 3 Rockstar pass, which is available for only $3.75.
All these discounts come just ahead of the PC release of Grand Theft Auto V on April 14th. You can also pre-order GTA V from the Humble Bundle store. And if you pre-order, Rockstar will let you start pre-downloading the game on April 7th.
GTA V is expected to be a huge seller for Rockstar when it goes live. The developers recently revealed that the game is receiving some special treatment on PC with features like an improved video editor that was introduced in GTA IV. The game also has 4K resolution support and high resolution textures to match.
Anyway, you still have a few days to kill before GTA V launches, so you might as well check out the Rockstar games while they're on sale. Get your wallet ready and head to the Humble Store.
