What a way to kill the buzz leading up to E3...Ubisoft let loose a new trailer for the long-awaited, highly anticipated Splinter Cell Confiction, yet it does nothing but disappoint. If you don’t believe me, just take a look at it yourself and be the judge.

The original idea behind Splinter Cell Conviction was that it was to feature open-world stealth challenges (i.e., trying to stay inconspicuous in a crowd of people; maneuvering through buildings while being incognito; gathering data and creating distractions with real world mechanics., etc.,) yet none of the promising features we’ve been waiting for have come to any sort of tangible fruitation. Instead, the game went AWOL along with Alan Dark, and gamers were left to question what would become of Ubisoft’s stealth-action game.

Well, the wait is finally over and it appears this new teaser trailer is a sign of greater things to come, specifically at E3. This is also an indicator that the rumors from places like The Game Reviews, regarding Splinter Cell Conviction’s release date and trade show demos, could be true. You can check out the completely uninformative, lame video trailer below from Game Trailers, and be sure to stay tuned in with Blend Games for further news and updates regarding all things gaming.
