The newest trailer for Warframe, the third-person shooter from Digital Extremes, focuses entirely on the PhysX properties available in the game. The already impressive visuals are made to look even better thanks to Nvidia's PhysX implementations that raise the particle fidelity up quite a bit.
VG 24/7 managed to spot the news from Digital Extremes and the showcase of PhysX properties in Warframe will be a nice way to give gamers with high-end rigs the opportunity to flex their PC's GPU muscles.
The only downside to this is that anyone with an AMD graphics card is already out of luck because while AMD cards can theoretically utilize PhysX features they usually come at a cost of efficiency or proper optimization, sort of like with Borderlands 2 and the PhysX capabilities. Other upcoming games like Gunz: The Second Duel are also utilizing PhysX, so Warframe won't be the only free-to-play action shooter game taking advantage of Nvidia's GPU technology.
