Weekly Recap June 18th: Duke Nukem Forever Arrives, Quake Reboot Possible

The fallout from E3 carries over into this week with additional footage, assets, media and revelations from companies still trying to hog the limelight from the biggest gaming convention of the year. Nevertheless, one of the biggest headliners this week was Duke Nukem Forever and the subsequent abysmal review scores that followed. Was it worth waiting nearly a decade and a half for the game? Most reviewers think not. On the other side of the first-person shooter spectrum, id Software seems to be considering a Quake reboot and DICE finally unveils the very first console footage of Battlefield 3 on the PS3.
