It’s that time of year again when a blanket of white covers the world, and video games are at it again with their fun, festive and mind-numbingly creative Christmas updates. Grand Theft Auto, known for its hilariously brilliant dance around the boundary between being entertaining and offensive, has just released their Christmas content and it’s as seasonally-satisfying as a cool swig of the adult-rated eggnog.

GTA Online is celebrating the holidays in Los Santos with the Festive Surprise 2015, now through January 5th. According to Rockstar Games, the holiday content will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC and will include:
New Santa outfits and a new collection of snug Pajamas, masks featuring Mr. and Mrs. Claus, Bad Elf, Crazy Gingerbread, Festive Luchador and more, three Christmas themed Car Horns, Christmas Trees at Legion Square and in all owned Apartments, Stilt Houses and Yachts.

On top of all of the new holiday-themed content for GTA Online, players will also have access to the holiday content from years prior; but keep your eyes peeled. As the holidays get closer, you might run into a few special Christmas surprises in the GTA Universe, like an unsuspecting snowfall in Los Santos and a possible snowball fight. And who knows, maybe some special holiday additions to the adversary modes.

If you’re broke in Los Santos and want the chance to win some dough this Christmas, you should participate in Rockstar Games’ #FestiveSurprise2015 Snapmatic Photo Challenge for a chance to win a $1 million award in GTA money and a feature at the Newswire. All you have to do is tag your photos with #FestiveSurprise2015 to be entered. The top five best photos posted between now and January 5th will be bringing home the big money.

While the holiday-themed announcement for Christmas content was announced just today by Rockstar Games, people have already been lighting up Twitter with their entries.

Who says the local law enforcement can't take a break from chasing down the bad guys to enjoy a little Christmas spirit?

Santa has quite a different reputation in some parts of Los Santos...apparently.

Not all Santas in Los Santos are money-grubbing pimp daddies. Some still appreciate nature.

You can view more of the tweeted responses to the photo contest under the hashtag #FestiveSurprise2015. You can also take part in the annual GTA Online Official Holiday Party Livestream on Twitch and YouTube Gaming starting December 22nd at 5pm ET.
