That Time Rihanna Complimented Anne Hathaway On Her Butt
Rihanna is a fan of Anne Hathaway's bottom, and the musician wasn't afraid it admit it to her face. While promoting their new heist movie, Ocean's 8, which hits theaters this weekend (read our review here), Anne Hathaway sat down with Ellen Degeneres to discuss the supportive energy that infused the set of Gary Ross' new movie. Ocean's 8 was the first project Anne Hathaway worked on since giving birth to her first son, two-year-old Jonathan. Hathaway felt slightly subconscious about her weight, but thankfully everyone on set was extremely supportive of Hathaway's figure. But she gained her biggest fan from Rihanna. The "Work" singer was very impressed with Hathaway's bum, and she fawned the actress with compliments.
Here's how Anne Hathaway described Rihanna's adoring comments for her butt on Ellen.
While Anne Hathaway has been boosted up by her Ocean's 8 co-stars, the actress is ready to shut down any haters. She just preemptively clapped back at fat shamers as she prepares for her next role, which requires her to gain some extra weight. Hathaway reminded them that if they take issue with her newfound weight, it's their problem, not hers. Plus, Rihanna has got her back, and you never want to mess with Rihanna.

In addition to Ocean's 8, Anne Hathaway will soon be starring in Serenity, alongside Matthew McConaughey, on October 19th. Before these upcoming roles, meanwhile, Hathaway was last seen in the excellent Colossal. She also filmed a role in The Hustle, a female-centric remake of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels expected to arrive in theaters on May 5th, 2019. Hathaway is also attached to star in the upcoming Barbie movie, taking on the title role Amy Schumer was once set to play. The Oscar-winning actress is also signed on to The Last Thing He Wanted, the new film from Dee Rees (Mudbound), as well as the sci-fi thriller O2. She's also attached to The Lifeboat and Live Fast Die Hot.
