Jenna Jameson Reportedly Arrested For DUI

Jenna Jameson, widely considered one of the most successful and famous pornography actress of all-time, was arrested early this morning following a one car accident in Orange County. The actress was reportedly driving at around 1:30 AM when her vehicle made contact with a light pole. Authorities were called to the scene, and following a brief interview, concluded there was a chance Jameson was intoxicated. Apparently, the field sobriety test that was allegedly administered didn’t go so well because she wound up in jail.

According to TMZ, cops noticed some small injuries on the starlet as they were booking her, but she declined to be taken to a hospital. After a misdemeanor suspicion of driving under the influence charge was filed, Jameson was reportedly released and assumedly, headed home.

Three years ago, Jameson gave birth to twins with mixed martial artist boyfriend Tito Ortiz. A domestic incident in which he was arrested followed in 2010, but both parties later recanted their allegations against each other and went on with their lives. No such headlines have occurred since.

Drunk driving is never good policy, and it’s an even worse idea when the driver has children. Throughout her career, Jameson has proved a savvy and wise businesswoman, generating millions of dollars through lucrative partnerships, on-screen roles and even a New York Times Bestseller. Here’s to hoping this alleged incident was a one time thing and doesn’t prove to be a footnote in some larger and scary pattern.
