Bachelorette Spoilers: Who Might Show Up And Propose To Hannah?
There's never any shortage of melodrama in the Bachelor franchise, but Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette already has to rival the most melodramatic in franchise history. Despite her straightforward desire to find love after being burned by Colton on The Bachelor, her suitors aren't making falling in love easy on her. Luke P. has been making a mess of things for pretty much everybody, and Hannah has yet to give him the boot because she sees a potential future with him. But does that future include a ring?
Well, one would think that even Hannah will have to break and get rid of Luke P. sooner or later, but he's still in the mix. An extended trailer for the rest of the season reveals that the Luke P. drama isn't done, though, and he's going to say something that's going to seriously rub Hannah the wrong way.
The trailer also reveals that one of Hannah's suitors went out and got a ring to pop the question, which naturally has us wondering which guy is making such a bold move and whether it could possibly work. The Bachelorette may not reveal the answer on screen for a while, but there are some things that can be sussed out ahead of time. First, take a look at the trailer:
Poor Hannah! She just wanted to find love after the fiasco that was Colton's season of The Bachelor, and she's been reduced to tears so many times already! ABC literally had to pause the season for a recap episode!
Luke P. has managed to wriggle back into Hannah's good graces so far in the season, but his point-blank statements about her sexuality could burn the bridge between them. The editing of the trailer seems to suggest that Luke won't take no for an answer and goes out to get a ring and propose.
That said, when Chris Harrison is revealing that somebody went out and got a ring for Hannah because he sees her as his future wife, neither Harrison nor Hannah actually name the guy. Is it Luke P., or is it one of the other guys?

One thing that is fairly evident is that Hannah learns the ring bombshell in the same episode where she breaks down in tears, as she's wearing the same outfit and earrings in both shots. The whole goal of The Bachelorette (and The Bachelor) may be to get hitched, but this isn't how proposals are supposed to go down! So, who's going to pop the question?
Spoilers ahead for the rest of Hannah's season of The Bachelorette. Spoiler guru Reality Steve, who has accurately revealed a number of franchise twists in the past, weighed in on the proposal tease from the trailer. Here's what he had to say about it on Twitter:
The confab between Chris Harrison and Hannah B. about the ring in the trailer seems very significant, and almost on par with Colton's big fence jump. According to this report, however, the ring Harrison mentioned won't have a part to play in the continued courtship of Hannah.
Given all the complications surrounding Colton on The Bachelor and how he handled the fantasy suites week, it's easy to forget that tease of Colton with a ring box at a castle. Will the ring for Hannah be forgettable in the grand scheme?
According to more specific spoilers about Hannah's prospects, Luke P. will stick around for a while, but he won't be the lucky guy chosen by Hannah at the end. Considering not everybody was exactly won over by his defense of himself after he was called a "psychopath," I'm guessing there won't be too many fans devastated when Hannah doesn't pick Luke P.
How much of a mess will Luke P. make before he's given the boot, though? And which guy will think he should go and get a ring to pop the question? Will we ever know, or will the twist be edited out just like Colton with the ring box was edited out of The Bachelor?
New episodes of The Bachelorette air Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC in the 2019 summer TV lineup. CBS is getting in on the reality dating game in a huge and very bold way, so perhaps ABC will find itself competing with the Eye Network for reality romance supremacy. Only time will tell.
