Yellowstone has released a new teaser for Season 3, and it is going to get fans very excited for the hit Western’s return to Paramount Network! Fans will recall that they already got a first look at the drama to come when the series ended its sophomore season. Prepare to get some exciting new insight into what will be happening when Yellowstone returns in 2020!

Kelly Reilly, who plays Beth Dutton on the riveting drama, has promised that some “big reveals are happening.” Yellowstone newcomer, Josh Holloway, and Luke Grimes (Kayce Dutton) apparently did not share any scenes in Season 3. However, they both describe Yellowstone’s third outing as “shocking.” Yes! Check out the video below and then reconvene for Season 3 speculation afterward:

The cast teases the new characters entering the bunkhouse! It appears that Yellowstone fans even get a peek at Jennifer Landon’s expert wrangler, Teeter. There is also a telling hint about Josh Holloway’s Roarke. He is described as being Dan Jenkins “time a million” by Kelly Reilly, who would know. Reilly’s Beth will be interacting with Roarke in Season 3.

Just seeing the way Josh Holloway teases Roarke has got me super excited to see this character! Roarke could be a significant factor in Season 3. Another exciting tease comes from Wes Bentley, who plays John Dutton’s eldest living son, Jamie. A lot of shocking twists transpired where the Dutton’s resident lawyer was involved last season.

Jamie killed someone and found out he is supposedly going to be a father. In related news, Yellowstone ended with the origins of Beth’s hatred for Jamie still a major mystery. One of the series’ many looming questions. Wes Bentley and Kelly Reilly have teased what might have led to Beth’s disdain for her brother. Bentley provides hope that more than teases lie ahead in Season 3, saying:

We dig into some things that everyone's been wanting us to dig into, that we've all been wanting to dig into.

Could Wes Bentley be referring to the secret origins of Beth’s hatred for Jamie? He does not say anything that explicitly confirms it. Beth and Jamie’s hostile dynamic is something that Yellowstone fans have been dying to know more about. Season 3 could hold the key!

Cole Hauser has teased Rip’s awareness of the tension between the Dutton siblings and his relationship with each of them in Season 3. Yellowstone may be on the verge of finally getting the inside track on what has led to Beth’s ill will towards her brother. The series’ co-creator has teased that Yellowstone will explore the siblings’ relationship in Season 3.

Kelly Reilly did tease some “big reveals” and that would fit. I hope it is not a coincidence that as Wes Bentley is teasing what Season 3 digs into, Jamie is shown talking to his father, John (Kevin Costner). As he continues, Beth can also be spotted covering her face as she walks away from John in a separate scene. Intense!

Hopefully, Yellowstone Season 3 will see Beth bond even more with her sister-in-law Monica. Kelsey Asbille, who plays Monica, teased a “shift” in Yellowstone’s next season, so you never know. I would love to see their relationship continue to grow and for Monica and Kayce to stay together. I am ready for Season 3 to gallop onto my screen!

Yellowstone will return for Season 3 in the summer of 2020 on Paramount Network. An exact premiere date has not gotten announced yet. While you wait for the drama to come back, you can check out this winter’s premieres.
