Gwen Stefani hasn’t exactly been shy about sharing her engagement ring from Blake Shelton in the weeks since her leading man officially proposed. However, this weekend, instead of seeing the ring from afar (as fans have on The Voice and Instagram) she gave us an up-close-and personal look at the ring and while beautiful, it’s honking. I mean, yowza, this thing is really impressive.

Honestly, I know I've been yammering on here, but it’s huge. My expectations of celebrity engagement rings are honestly pretty high anyway, but this one is really above and beyond what most of us dream of in a wedding ring. It's big, bold and noticeable. We know this because over the weekend Gwen Stefani (sort of) attended the People’s Choice Awards with Blake Shelton. However, when he went to accept the award for Top Country Artist, she had to stay in the car given the social distancing measures the event had in place to make sure everyone involved in the event stayed safe. Which gave us a look at this beauty:

Yup, that is a look from Gwen Stefani’s Instagram Stories at the ring Blake Shelton gave her when he proposed. The couple made their engagement official on social media back at the end of October and at the time we got a look at Gwen Stefani’s ring, but it was nothing as up close and personal as what she shared with her fans on Sunday.

Sources have mentioned to outlets like US Magazine that the ring was “custom designed” by Blake Shelton. It has a six-prong setting and what seems to be 6-carat solitaire diamond at its center, making it one pricy proposal from the "God's Country" singer. That outlet and others have estimated the ring to be worth about $500,000 dollars.

I can’t even imagine wearing something that pricy on a daily basis without being stressed out I’d lose it, but Gwen Stefani seems to be loving the bling so far. It should symbolize a more official union with Blake Shelton and hopefully keep questions about impending nuptials off of the fans' radars for a while. It is worth pointing out that the two have been together for quite some time now; they have been dating since 2016 after both split from their previous marriages to Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert. An engagement seemed to be on the horizon for a while and it's really cool the two celebrities have been open about their upcoming nuptials, with news even breaking about another "aww" moment when Shelton asked Stefani's dad for permission to marry his ( ain't no hollaback) girl.

They’ve been together for years and Blake Shelton has even been active with helping to raise Gwen Stefani's boys. They've performed together too, and this season they are even starring on this season of NBC’s The Voice. See them in action or see what else is coming to TV with our winter schedule.
