After wrapping its 13th season on the 2026 TV schedule, the series When Calls the Heart is prepping for Season 14. The show will return in 2027 on Hallmark Channel with all-new episodes, and some of the cast have already arrived on set to get settled in with wardrobe. Erin Krakow was finally en route to Vancouver where the long-running drama films and she had her baby in tow.
Krakow and her When Calls the Heart co-star and husband Ben Rosenbaum recently made the flight to Canada to begin work on the upcoming season. The two had welcomed their first baby in April, so of course, the little one came along. Krakow continued her tradition of “plane selfie, not a plain selfie” pictures on Instagram, and their bundle of joy was (of course) included in what I’m sure will be just her first in the series:
These are the first pictures of Baby Rosenbaum since the happy parents announced the arrival of their baby girl in June, and I am melting. Krakow and Rosenbaum definitely have that new-parent glow, and I can only imagine how it is going to film When Calls the Heart when their dog isn’t the only passenger along for the ride.
Krakow and Rosenbaum announced they were expecting last fall, after filming wrapped on Season 13. Krakow admitted that her pregnancy secret was nearly blown during production because of her cravings. Luckily, she was able to get through it, and the surprise wasn’t spoiled before she had the chance to tell the cast and crew. At least Krakow doesn’t have to worry about that this time around, because now the reason for her cravings is going to be on set with her.
Meanwhile, their baby girl also won’t be the only baby hanging around on set from time to time. The When Calls the Heart family has not one, not two, but three new additions. Krakow’s on-screen fiancé Kevin McGarry and his wife, WCTH alum and Landman star Kayla Wallace, announced on Mother’s Day that they had recently welcomed their baby. Meanwhile, just days after Krakow and Rosenbaum announced the birth of their baby, Chris McNally and Hallmark star Julie Gonzalo took to a People exclusive to reveal they had also welcomed their second baby girl.
Baby fever hit the set of the Hallmark favorite last year, and it’s crazy to know that all three babies are here. It is nice that all three couples were able to have a few months to themselves and their families before production started, and hopefully they aren’t running on empty because those first few months could be tiring. As of now, it’s unknown how Season 14 of When Calls the Heart will kick off, but one can only hope they ease into things (unlike Season 13’s wildfire storyline), so they can take a little more time to lock back in. Season 14 will premiere sometime in 2027 on Hallmark Channel.
