Suda 51’s latest off-the-wall action game, Killer is Dead will finally make its way to PC on May 9. Deep Silver today announced that the PC port will be a special “Nightmare Edition” of the game, offering additional content and available at retail and digitally for $19.99.
Over the course of the past few days, I have explored a mansion on the moon, battled a tiger tattoo sprouting from a man’s back, seduced a vampire, rode a talking unicorn and pulverized giant insects in a house made out of candy. Grasshopper Manufacture released a new trailer for the upcoming Killer Is Dead, and the trailer sports snippets of hacking, slashing, some sexy-time and plenty of head-banging action from the grunge-rock group, Jesse and the Bonez.
Killer Is Dead's publisher Deep Silver has announced two special editions for the action game. The Fan Edition and Limited Edition each contain exclusive in-game content for players.
If you meandered over to the Marvelous/XSEED booth at E3 this year, you would have had the opportunity to get your hands on the delightfully stylish Killer is Dead. Behind closed doors, however, Product Manager Jimmy Soga was showing off a different section of gameplay, dishing additional details for the upcoming game along the way.
XSeed Games released some brand new screenshots for the upcoming hack-and-slash, alternate reality game from Suda 51 and Grasshopper Manufacture. The screenshots mostly focus on the boss battles, as well as guard counters and special evasive maneuvers.

Well, it looks like Suda 51 has gone and turned Killer is Dead into one giant crazy action adventure that not only sports lots of bloodletting of over-the-top villains, cyborgs and freaks, but the latest trailer reveals that there are also giant aliens that players will have to contend with.
There are some who would argue that western gamers are becoming less interested in Japanese games. Publisher XSEED, however, believes the exact opposite is true, announcing a list of six titles they will be publishing here in the U.S. throughout 2013.
Kodokawa Games and Grasshopper Manufacture Inc.’s latest action game, Killer is Dead is slated for a summer release and now, thanks to a new partnership with XSEED, the game will also be coming to the United States for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.
