Unreal Indie Bundle Takes Steam By Storm The Unreal Engine 3 indie game bundle is currently going wild and running strong on Valve's digital distribution portal. The bundle contains independent games designed and published using Epic Games' Unreal Engine 3 and you can get them all for the low, low price of $19.99. Keiji Inafune's Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z Is Powered By Unreal Engine 3 Tecmo Koei and Epic Games have signed on together in a deal that sees Koei licensing Epic's Unreal Engine 3 for Spark Unlimited and comcept's upcoming Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, which will be helmed and designed by the legendary Keiji Inafune. The first images of the project have also surfaced, giving gamers a brief glimpse of what's to come. Bless, Unreal Engine 3 MMO Has Great Graphics, Boring Gameplay A new gameplay video of the upcoming MMO, Bless, showcases 23 whole minutes of the game. Yes, nearly an entire half-hour of gameplay. While the graphics for Neowiz's Bless looks great, the major problem is that it's a game sporting decade old gameplay mechanics, turning what could have been a great concept into yet another click-and-farm fest. Square Enix Licenses Unreal Engine 4 For Next-Gen Titles Square Enix has signed a multi-year, multi-license deal with Epic Games to use both the Unreal Engine 3 and the Unreal Engine 4 for present and upcoming titles. As usual, no specifics were given on what the Unreal Engine 4 will be used for, but it has been confirmed that they will be using the Unreal Engine in cohesion with Square's own Luminous Engine. Wii U Will Not Support The Unreal Engine 4 Well, there's no reason to get up in arms about the Wii U's future-proof capabilities. It has been confirmed that the Wii U will not be supporting Epic Games' newest iteration of their popular multi-purpose middleware, meaning that we won't be seeing any dedicated Unreal Engine 4 games on the Wii U. Epic Releases May UDK With RealD Support Epic Games has announced that the Unreal Engine has joined up with RealD as an integrated partner in their partnership program. In addition to this, Epic has also released the latest iteration of the Unreal Development Kit with brand new features and updates.
