Bohemia Interactive, the developers of Operation Flashpoint and the original Arma, have partnered with Got Game Entertainment to bring the highly realistic military simulation-shooter, ArmA II, to North American retail shelves.

While the game officially released last week in Euro-territories, Arma II, for the longest, was kept out of the news regarding any kind of North American availability. No worries, though, Bohemia Interactive knew that gamers the world around would want to get their hands on this awesome game and that’s why they partnered with Got Game Entertainment.

"North America is one of the most powerful and important markets in terms of a game's marketing and distribution," said Marek Spanel, Bohemia's CEO. Spanel continues on to say, "We were looking for responsible and credible partners who will focus on ARMA II with the kind of drive and enthusiasm that this huge project deserves. We feel Got Game Ent. will be the right partner for us and I believe together we will make ARMA II a success in North America."

The game really does look like an intense, fun shooter. Of course, nothing is final until the review scores roll in. Anyway, Arma II is scheduled to land on North American retail shelves on July 7th. So you won’t have to wait long to get your hands on it. It will also be available on Steam soon, so you won’t have to wait long to get it on your hard-drive.
