Warner Bros. Interactive and Eidos’ upcoming war-strategy simulator is nearly ready to surface on retailer shelves. But before May 12th rolls up to the doorstep of time, Eidos has released some new trailer footage to hold gamers over while they anxiously count down the days for BattleStations: Pacific’s release date.

The new trailer isn’t quite as intense as the launch trailer for World in Conflict: Soviet Assault, but it sure does do a darn-good job of conveying the action and fast-paced gameplay present within this RTS game.

Before getting to the actual gameplay, however, the trailer sets up the atmosphere with some historic footage and a classic quote from F.D. Roosevelt. I’m not sure if the gameplay that’s shown off in the video matches the history lesson, but I guess it works.
