Battlestations: Pacific Lets Players Change HistoryAuthor: William Usher

There has been more videos of Battlestations: Pacific in the past week than for all the trailers and assets released for Borderlands in the past two years. Maybe 2K should take some hints from Warner Bros. and Eidos when it comes to hyping a game. There’s no doubt that if you haven’t heard of Battlestations: Pacific before, you certainly know now.
The upcoming historical World War II strategy simulator features two full campaigns: one for the Allies and one for the Imperial Japanese forces. The second campaign literally takes an alternate look at what the war could have been for the Japanese beyond the battle of Midway. It’s a gutsy move by the developer and one I hope pays off for them, especially considering that many World War II simulators are very shy at being innovative with story-oriented campaign missions. In the following trailer there isn’t much of anything new on display for Battlestations: Pacific that many gamers haven’t already seen. If you’ve been following the trailers and press assets for BS: Pacific, then this is just some extra eye-fodder for your senses. You can check out the trailer below or visit the Official Website for more information about the game. And remember to stay tuned in with Blend Games for further updates news and information regarding all things gaming. |
