Last week, the Lionhead Studios blog promised that there would be big news on Fable 2 coming this week. Everyone will be left to ponder the content of the announcement even longer, though, as it's been pushed back a week.

"The big bods over in Redmond decided that, this week wasn't the time to tell you what that announcement is we have ready here in Guildford," said today's post on the Lionhead blog. Redmond, of course, is the home of Microsoft. The post later assures gamers that the announcement - whatever it is - will come on November 24th.

Not really sure why Microsoft would delay the announcement. Maybe because they're all busy hyping the New Xbox Experience, the Xbox 360 interface overhaul which launched today. By the way, there's a Fable 2 theme available for NXE. Hurray? It sucks that the announcement (of DLC?) was pushed back a week but on the other hand, I'm glad the big announcement wasn't just "Hey, we made a Fable 2 NXE theme!"
