Well, it turns out Google will be making a foray into gaming after all. No, they're still not buying Valve, but their subsidiary, video-sharing website YouTube, will now sell video games.

According to Reuters, gaming videos on YouTube will have accompanying Amazon.com links that allow users to purchase the games all quick and easy like. Google and Amazon will share revenues from any games purchased through these links.

A similar deal will be in place for purchasing songs through Amazon and Apple's digital music stores, as well. YouTube had 330 million visitors this August so there's certainly some potential for mega-bucks there. We'll see whether watching "Chocolate Rain" puts people in a buying mood.
