Not long after they stopped active work on games, developer Iron Lore Entertainment posted a news item on their website. The developers of Titan Quest have decided to call it quits after not receiving funding for their next project.

The statement goes on to extend thanks to the players, fans and supporters of the games Iron Lore made. They take a moment to thank THQ, their publisher, for all the support. Iron Lore is currently working to help get it’s staff positions at other development and publishing houses. The engine and tool set they use is also up for licensing opportunities.

We’d like to wish the people over at Iron Lore good luck in their future endeavors, and we look forward to playing their games again at some point.
