Some of the screenshots we’ve seen for Monster Hunter Tri include the underwater hunting, some lava scavenging and a few town pictures. The newest set of screenshots for Capcom’s upcoming grand-adventure, action role-playing game includes a little safari hunting among the game's wildlife.

After picking best launch trailer for 2009 with its release in Japan last year, Monster Hunter 3 will soon make its debut Stateside. The game will feature open-world environments, quests, plenty of NPCs to interact with, pets, and support for four-player online cooperative play. Heck, there’s even a split-screen option for gamers to play off-line.
