Capcom has released new screens for Street Fighter IV. This would normally excite me – and still places a tingle in my spine – except that it’s from the same fight we’ve seen ad nauseum. It’s more of Ryu and Ken beating each other up, with one lovely addition. Giant-face-melting-ball-of-blue-plasma to the face!

The rest of the shots are your standard fare, showing off the funny faces it takes to pull off a hoduken. But at the end you see that Ryu has thrown a fireball that has “failed,” and turns around to unleash blue fury on Ken. If that doesn’t make you happy in any way, then you have no soul.

We know that Dhalsim is in the game, would it be too much to see some bent over stretchy punches? Perhaps SF fans could get tossed a bone in the way of fire breathing teleportations. Anything but seeing this same battle any more. We have video, and we can take screen caps if we’re hard up for more Ryu vs. Ken madness.
