The indie-based browser MMO, Sherwood Dungeon has received a super-overhaul from developers Maid Marion Entertainment. Fans screamed for upgrades, updates and changes and unlike big budget publishers, Maid Marion listened.

Not only did the developers listen but they took it upon themselves to do all sorts of kick butt stuff with the new bow weapons, upgraded AI and additional equipment slots, but they also completely re-imagined the dungeons in the game for an even deeper sense of immersion and adventure.

As stated in the press release…

Fitting the grassroots nature of Sherwood Dungeon, this update was made possible through the direct support and feedback of Sherwood Dungeon’s loyal fan base, which beta tested the update and helped work out any bugs.

Truly community based. Now if only a few other developers could take on that kind of mentality.
