Steam is holding a week-long promotion for the THQ titles in their digital store. From now until October 17th, most THQ games in their catalog are being offered at a 33% discount.

Each day of this week, Steam will also implement a different 24-hour sale. Today, for example, the post-apocalyptic shooter Metro 2033 has been marked down by 75%. That discount makes the game a mere $5.

"Additionally, Steam Cloud integration has been added to many of your favorite THQ titles, allowing your game saves to travel with you wherever you play," says Valve. "Just launch your Steam copy of games like Metro 2033 and your game saves will be copied to the cloud."

You can get an even bigger deal by buying in bulk. The THQ Hit Collection, with over 15 titles, costs $49.99 instead of the usual $99.99 this week. Purchasing all the games individually would cost $208.25.

There is one catch to THQ Week, though. The upcoming game Saints Row 3 and the recently released Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine are not eligible for discounts. Valve does want to make some money, after all.
