As with other class updates for Team Fortress 2, Valve will be slowly revealing information each day about the Sniper update until it's finally released. Today, they released the first bit of info on the new content: one of the Sniper's new unlockable weapons.

The "Huntsman" is a bow and arrow and presumably a replacement for your Sniper rifle. It allows you to pin enemies to the wall and its headshots are automatic crits. There's probably no laser sight, though, and you'll need to take a second to pull the string back before firing.

There's two unlockable weapons, maps, and new Achievements to be revealed. Stay tuned for that. I'm guesstimating on the release date with the headline; they usually take about five weekdays to reveal all the information.
