Terra Militaris: Firearms Debut Trailer Starts Off Like An Awesome MovieAuthor: William Usher

The official debut trailer for gPotato's Terra Militaris: Firearms is at first both fascinating and artistic. We know that gPotato focuses on free-to-play games and if you've never heard of Terra Militaris before then you would probably assume it's a crossover of Frank Miller's 300 meets Paradox Interactive's Mount & Blade, based on the first half of the trailer.
There's a real cinematic gauze to the look of the trailer and there's a dynamic element of combat and intrigue attached to the presentation. One would instantly assume this is sort of a hack-and-slash, Vindictus-type army game. Well, if you're unfamiliar with what gPotato has in store for you, all I can say is watch the trailer and be amazed. Ahahaha, you got had. I'm betting the execs at gPotato were laughing because it was obvious after the trailer transitioned into the gameplay segments there were a lot of smiles that turned into frowns. I'm talking out of personal experience, too. I guess if you don't mind games designed the way Terra Mlitaris is designed then you could easily find yourself making friends, making enemies and having a load of fun building up your army and doing battle. On the opposite end of the spectrum, I'm betting there are a ton of gamers who just pouted their lips, crossed their arms and are waiting for a game to launch that encompasses the epicness of the first-half of the above trailer.
