E3 2011 just ended a week ago and THQ is already giving gamers a reason to look forward to next year's convention. THQ's Danny Bilson says that the MMO Warhammer 40k: Dark Millenium Online will be playable at E3 2012.

"Next year, I promise you, next E3," Bilson told Eurogamer when they asked when the game will be playable. "I've already got plans for what the booth is like. The centrepiece of the booth will be that MMO."

Dark Millenium Online takes place in the 41st Millenium. Several alien races will do battle to take control of the Sargos Sector. Players will get to choose from various races (including the Imperium of Man and the Eldar Exiles) and customize their character with various weapons, items, and armor.

Darksiders studio Vigil Games is handling development duties on Dark Millenium. The MMO is expected to launch between April 2012 and March 2013.
