One of the best fighting games ever made is making the transition to movies. What's more, it's coming to theaters, and itís coming in 3D.

The movie, based on the characters of Tekken and titled Tekken Blood Vengeance is splashing across screens in America thanks to Fathom Events, who plan to show it for one night only on Tuesday, July 26, at 7:30pm. The film will be presented in RealD 3D and once itís over, stay in your seat, because theyíll follow it up with exclusive behind the scene interviews featuring the filmís director and writer.

So whatís this Tekken movie like? Check out the trailer:

Alright so the animationís not really any better than your average, video game cut scene. I mean, not at all better. And it definitely needs some Eddie Gordo. But if youíre a fan of Tekken, maybe itíll be fun anyway. Hereís a tip Fathom: Set up a bunch of arcade consoles in the lobby, youíll make millions in quarters.

Strangely enough, there's actually a live-action Tekken movie floating around out there as well. Only, that movie won't get a theatrical release. Instead it's going straight to DVD.

Check out a few still photos from the Tekken Blood Vengeance below and to find out where itís playing in your area visit Fathom Events.
