Subscribe To Total War: Shogun 2 Demo Confirmed Updates
Sega plans to release a demo for Total War: Shogun 2 next week. It will let you determine whether military rule of Japan is a desirable career goal.

The Shogun 2 demo will be released on February 22nd. It sounds as though it'll be exclusively available through Steam. It seems likely, then, that the game will be using Steamworks for Achievements, match-making, leaderboards, and other features.

There's no mention of what the demo's content will be. The game itself lets you build an empire in Japan while disposing of any opposition. The gameplay is a combination between real-time battles and turn-based empire management. The demo should at least introduce you to the former.

The full game will be released on March 15th. Before you throw down money on a pre-order, be sure to check the system requirements.
