Today Beamdog released a gameplay trailer for Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition, the upcoming remake of the Dungeons and Dragons role-playing game. They also announced that the game is now available for pre-loading for select gamers.

BG:EE features the entire 1998 PC RPG along with its Tales of the Sword Coast expansion. The game is powered by an improved version of the Infinity Engine. Thus, it looks pretty similar to the original game, albeit with widescreen support.

The remake also includes new content. Players will be able to tackle a new adventure called the Black Pits. Furthermore, they'll have three new characters to recruit: a Calishite monk, wild mage, and blackguard.

Beamdog plans to release the game on PC, Mac, and iOS on November 28th. The Android version is currently undated. If you plan to pick up the PC version, you can begin pre-loading the files at Beamdog's website.
