The Ball Debut Trailer Teases New Kind Of First Person Adventure

Toultec Studios released the official debut trailer for their upcoming first-person adventure game, The Ball. It involves using a gravity-gun to manipulate a giant ball where players must solve puzzles and defeat a wide variety of bosses, including a giant ape.
Once I seen the gravity gun in the trailer it instantly reminded me of Valve’s beloved Portal. The difference is that instead of creating portals gamers are manipulating a giant, solid ball. The premise stays the same, though: Only one tool can be used to manipulate an entity within a vastly complex, puzzle driven game world.
It definitely looks like an interesting mix of action-adventure gameplay and though-provoking puzzle management. It’s like a violent, cognitively challenging playground and I definitely love the concept.
The game is set to release this summer, exclusively for PC. You can check out the debut trailer for The Ball below, courtesy of GameTrailers, or visit the Official Website for more info.
