Call Of Duty: Black Ops Hits Mac This Week With Free DLC
By Pete Haas published

Mac owners will finally get their hands on Call of Duty: Black Ops this week. The shooter, which takes players to various hotspots of the Cold War era, will arrive on September 27th with free additional content.
Black Ops on Mac, priced at $49.99, includes the First Strike Map Pack for no charge. First Strike adds four maps for competitive multiplayer and a fifth, "Ascension," for zombie co-op mode. This content was $14.99 on other platforms.
If First Strike makes you hunger for more zombie action, you can buy the Rezurrection Content Pack for $14.99. That particular DLC lets you battle the undead on the surface of the Moon. Furthermore, it includes four remastered versions of Call of Duty: World at War zombie maps.
Aspyr plans to bring additional DLC to the Mac as well. The Escalation and Annihilation packs will be released as a bundle by the end of this year.
Black Ops' sequel will hit the PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U this November. Hopefully it won't take Activision two years to release Black Ops 2 on the Mac.
